Human Resources Analyst

The Department of General Services (DGS) Classification and Pay unit is seeking two dynamic and motivated Human Resources Analysts to join their team! As the Human Resources Analyst, you will have the ability to influence, organize, and improve multiple HR processes within the Office of Human Resources and throughout the organization. As the Human Resources Analyst, you will have the opportunity to:

• Research and analyze job classification and justification requests by DGS programs and client agencies
• Provide guidance to managers of DGS programs and client agencies regarding allocation of positions
• Research and develop salary and classification studies
• Resolve various personnel issues in collaboration with OHR Labor relations unit
• Serve as an expert in providing consultative services
• Participate in team-based working sessions and attend OHR meetings

Desirable Skills we are looking for:

• Experience with compensation, human resource trends, and labor laws
• Strong customer service and teamwork focus
• Experience with personnel consulting
• Strong ability to write detailed and accurate recommendations to classify numerous positions within a large government business unit
• Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate personnel requests
