Project Coordinator Job at ACT Government – Canberra ACT
The Rego.act Modernisation program, funded by capital funding for the Digitising Government Services initiative, will focus on delivering outcomes in the following key areas:
Prioritise functions for modernisation.
Application Programming Interface (API) enablement for prioritised functions.
Multi-disciplinary approach to solution development.
Introducing contemporary system development practices.
With that in mind, we are seeking to recruit an energetic and organised Project Coordinator who will play a key role in delivering positive outcomes by assisting the Project Manager in directing and managing the quality and progress of the projects within the program. The successful applicant will see to it that the projects adhere to frameworks and all documentations are maintained appropriately. They will effectively communicate with the project team, project sponsor, users and other stakeholders and provide administrative support as needed.

Relevant tertiary qualifications/project management professional certifications are highly desirable.
Competency in the use of relevant Project Management tools and techniques.
Note: This is a temporary six week position whilst a recruitment for a long-term temporary engagement (12 months) is being undertaken. Touching base with the Contact Officer to discuss the duties of the position is highly recommended. This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. This position is available to ACT Government officers and employees only.
