Responsible for maintaining and expanding a database of pre-written content (narratives, Q&A, and other types) to improve proposal quality and proposal / sales team productivity. Responsible for defining and optimizing the content library structure and record management system to ensure ease of access and data integrity.
Ability to identify and work with relevant subject matter experts (SME) within the business who are owners of the pre-written content. Motivate and manage SMEs to ensure commitment to updating content on a pre-agreed cycle.
Confident in dissecting proposals and identifying frequently asked questions and answers that need to be included in a knowledgebase.
Ideally will have implemented a multi-lingual / international knowledgebase.
Design and own the overall knowledgebase architecture
Assimilate information extracted from SMEs and rewrite it into a proposal-ready, customer-focused style, ensuring that the content is clearly articulated and easy to integrate into proposals
Ensure legal and operational compliance of knowledgebase information
Work with graphics designers as required to develop and maintain a comprehensive library of images
Schedule regular reviews of the knowledgebase to identify areas that need to be updated / expanded
Review the structure of the knowledgebase on a regular basis to ensure that it reflects the needs of the business
Seek out new SMEs to provide/maintain knowledgebase content based on requests from the proposal / sales teams
Provide regular training to users of the knowledgebase and gather feedback on the relevance and quality of content
Strong understanding of content reporting / analytics
Strong time management / prioritization skills
Strong written English language skills
Strong attention to detail
APMP Foundation or Practitioner is desired
Project management experience, PMP desired
Proficient with Microsoft Office 365
MS Word expert
OneDrive, SharePoint experience
Proposal Automation Software experience (Qvidian)
