ABOUT THE TEAM/BRANCH

The HR Branch supports the Department’s workforce with strategic and operational human resource issues such as pay and entitlements, recruitment activities and HR policy.

The Workforce Planning & Reporting team is responsible for providing strategic advice to the Department in line with the Finance Workforce Strategy. We are responsible for the provision of high quality, accurate and relevant workforce reports to support and inform organisational workforce decisions. This includes the contributing to the preparation and compilation of statutory reporting requirements, as well as other Department-level activities such as Senate Estimates.

The HR Workforce Planning and Reporting team are looking for an APS6 Workforce Planning Projects Officer.

In this role, you will work closely with the EL1 Assistant Director in the Workforce Planning and Reporting team to deliver a range of projects identified in our current Workforce Strategy. You will engage with the business on the delivery of these projects and support monitoring of progress against our Workforce Strategy Action Plan through analysis of workforce data.

All Finance staff are required to have a minimum baseline security clearance prior to commencement.
